Full or part-time production assembly opportunity for the right candidates.

Small custom battery pack assembly organization is seeking reliable, detail-oriented assemblers preferably with soldering and/or resistance welding experience in a manufacturing environment, to join our team.

The position provides the opportunity to be involved in various aspects of manufacturing, and may include kitting, assembly, quality management, testing, and shipping/receiving, with excellent potential for growth.

01. General Responsibilities

• Resistance welding
• Soldering electrical connections
• Crimping terminals 18-24 AWG
• Shrinkwrapping battery packs using 4-6 mil shrink wrap size 40-300 millimeters
• Experience in measuring to 1/64ths

02. Requirements

• High attention to detail & quality

• Excellent communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation/ability to get to work each day
• Full-time availability on a consistent schedule, 8:30-5 (part-time set hours will be considered)
• Ability and self-motivation to learn quickly and independently
• Ability to follow company set procedures
• Ability to keep a clean and organized workspace
• Ability to do the same task for extended periods of time, while flexible enough to move from task to task as required
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs without issue
• Self-motivated to meet and exceed set goals
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as with others

03. Other (Desired, but not required)

• Excellent soldering skills and/or dexterity with small hand tools (will train
• Technical degree and solid knowledge of battery technology
• IPC certification
• Experience in measuring to 1/64ths
• Experience working in an ISO-9001:2015 certified facility a plus

Starting pay: $20/hr, generous paid time off, monthly stipend
